Ongoing Events: 

Weekly Online Tournament (WOT):

Every Monday Night from 8-9pm we host an online tournament on chess.com! Keep an eye out for a variety of different formats including Fischer Random (Chess960), Bullet and special openings! 

Daily Boards:

As a staple of the Chess Club, the Daily Boards (and Xiangqi) are located between the Robert Webster Building and the Quadrangle. They will be out every week, Monday to Fridays from 10am-5pm (weather permitting). Message in #looking-for-game in our discord to find any players nearby looking for a game!

Stress Less Week

During April 7-9, come find us in the quad to play some chess/giant chess to relax! We have a new giant chess set made of recycled materials as well! Come check it out!

Inter-University Collab

Once again we are collabing with the biggest university chess clubs in Sydney! A night of fun games, snacks and trivia. Will be sometime around Week 9 (Apr 16 or Apr 17). Follow our socials for details closer to the date!

End of Term 1 Tournament

Compete in the esteemed tri-annual traditional event and win up to $200! The tournament will be 9 rounds, in a Swiss format, with a nicely paced 5|3 time control.

Date: 15th of May (Friday) 1pm-5pm, (First Friday after Exams).
