Format:
90 minutes + 30 seconds increment from move 1
ACF and FIDE rated 2 game match with alternating boards and colours
(Recommended to have 1600+ ACF or FIDE Rating)
Entry fee and Prizes:
$15 entry fee (Arc Member)
$20 entry fee (Non-Arc Member)
Free entry for (GM, IM, WGM, WIM, FM, WFM)

Applicants who are selected will be contacted by email with details for payment. Applicants are chosen by rating, while also ensuring players come from a variety of other NSW clubs.

Tournament Rules and Conditions
All games played are under the FIDE Laws of Chess.
The forfeit time is 30 minutes from the start of the round. Extensions may be granted if communicated to the organizer before the forfeit time expires, such as due to transportation disruption.
Photography is authorised within the first 10 minutes of the start of a round. Afterwards, only photographers authorised by the organiser are allowed in the playing area. Please email us if you would like to opt out of having your photo taken.
Spectators are not permitted inside the playing area after 10 minutes of the start of a round.
Refunds may be provided at the discretion of the organizer, given the registration period has not closed.
Any unclaimed prizes within 30 days of the event will be invested back into UNSW Chess Club.
Any unjustified or early withdrawals may lead to your prize money being withheld and may impact your future participation at UNSW Chess Club events.
Any appeals made will go to UNSW Chess Club's Grievance, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Officer, and if required, consultation with Arc@UNSW.
